Rods to Loaded Packs
Wanting to fish but need the gear? Want to try out the hot new rod or reel?
We offer a full line of rental gear from introductory outfits to top of the line demo rods, reels, waders, and fully stocked packs and vests loaded with all the tackle and flies you need for a day fly fishing on Montana's waters. We carry the best brands in the fly fishing business: Simms, RL Winston, Rio, Patagonia, Ross, St. Croix, Sage, Fishpond, and more. Our inventory includes trout, bass, and saltwater rods and reels for rent.
Our Premium Demo rod rental program allows you to fish the best new rod on the market each year. Many of our customers love this! Our premium demo program is the best in the industry - not only is the best rod on the planet in your hands, you get to upgrade every year. We have a limited stock of premium demo rods, so availability is tight, but we do have a waiting list for when they're in hand.

Our rental rates
Fully Loaded Fly Fishing Packs or Vests
Before heading out for the day, pick up one of our LOADED PACKS or VESTS. Let us know where you are headed, give us 30 minutes notice, and we will have a pack or vest loaded for you. Included in pack or vest: A dozen of the best flies, nippers and clamps, fly floatant, two leaders, two spools of tippet, two strike indicators, and a pack of split shot. You keep the tackle and flies at the end of the day. Packs and vests must be returned.
Pack or Vest: $80/day
Rods
Intro rods (Sage Discovery Series; Winston Passport; Ross Essence; and others):
- 1 to 4 days: $25/day
- 5 to 10 days: $15/day
- 10 to 30 days: $10/day
- Season (30 to 90 days): $150
- Annual: $250
Premium Demo rods:
- 1 to 4 days: $50/day
- 5 to 10 days: $40/day
- 10 to 30 days: $30/day
- Season (30 to 90 days): $300
- Annual: $500
Waders and Boots
