What We Charge and Why

The only added costs are your fishing license, guide gratuity, and taxes.

Here at Gallatin River Guides our goal is for you to go fishing - not for you to spend time kicking tires or reading the fine print.

Our guided fly fishing rates are all-Inclusive. Our rates include guide service, gear, flies, non-alcoholic beverages, and lunch on full days.

Not included are a valid fishing license or permit, a guide gratuity, and the Big Sky community resort tax.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy

Making a Reservation

Advanced reservations are strongly suggested, as our core group of flyfishing guides is booked well in advance. As soon as you know your fly fishing trip dates we encourage you to make a reservation so you can have first choice of guides, locations and lodging. At the time of your reservation please let GRG know of any health concerns or dietary restrictions we should be aware of for you comfort and safety.

Deposit and Final Payment

Gallatin River Guides requires a 50% deposit when booking a trip. Customer balance is due at the culmination of the trip. Small Fry Trips require full payment in advance. Small Fry Trip payment is fully refundable up to the day of the trip.

Receipt of a deposit constitutes your agreement to our deposit and payment terms.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Your deposit will be refunded in whole if you give GRG 30 days or more notice of intent to cancel. Within 30 days, if the guide assigned cannot be re-booked, your deposit will be kept by us and then forwarded to the guide in lieu of that lost revenue. We have a remarkable ability to re-book guides. No-shows on the day of the trip will result in full-payment to your card. We understand that unforseen circumstances can lead to canceled trips, and we reserve the right to make refund decisions on a case by case basis.

GRG is permitted throught the Gallatin National Forest, Yellowstone National Park, the Montana Board of Outfitters, and Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks. Montana licensed outfitters: Patrick Straub #7878, Betsey French #235
